Information
Our service provides delidding and relidding for your Intel processor, including the replacement of Thermal Interface Material (TIM) with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut Extreme (liquid metal). Additionally, we offer the option to upgrade the stock Integrated Heat Spreader (IHS) to our custom Copper IHS, which boasts higher thermal conductivity due to its increased surface area. This process typically results in temperature reductions ranging from 8 to 35°C, depending on your CPU generation. Please note that this service requires mailing your processor to us for servicing.
Upon purchase, you will receive an email with mail-in instructions.
Service includes
• Delid - Removal of the IHS
• Removal of old silicone & TIM
• Die polish to remove leftover solder (12th Gen and newer)
• Coating all exposed traces & SMDs on the PCB to prevent electrical shorts
• Applying Conductonaut Extreme to both the CPU die and the IHS to ensure proper contact
• Relid - Sealing the IHS of your choice tightly onto the PCB using high-temperature silicone
Supported processors
• Generations: 14, 13, 12, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 and 3
• Sockets: LGA1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155 and 1156
• Please refer to our Compatibility list to confirm whether your processor is eligible for delidding and to discover the average temperature reduction we can achieve.
